The inside of the Basilica in Brussels – I like this picture but it annoys me at the same time because while it’s level at the bottom its not at the top. Could be lens sphering but either way it bugs me..
Nothing Beats a Burger
This is a great little burger place in St. Catherine’s square in Brussels – nice selection, including Lamb, which was a new one for me.

Pass this on my way home everyday from work and was finally able/remembered to take a picture of it. The tag appears to be based on the punisher logo and is just one example of some of the very creative tag work to be found along the railway tracks in Brussels. There is, of course, a lot of rubbish too but the artistic stuff is normally pretty good.
Nothing quite like it
Northing beats a good cup of tea. Almost the family motto except my mother drinks coffee exclusively. The water here in Brussels sucks – its so hard that I have to spoon the lime out of every cup I make – but its worth it for that hot relaxing brew.
Standing Alone
This is the first image to be posted with any post work on it. I love taking pictures in RAW format because you get to do on the computer what can’t always be achieved well on the camera without going overboard. Here there are a few tweaks to the white balance and saturation. Additionally I cropped the shot down a touch too.

Never in the same place twice
Brussels can be a pretty interesting place when it comes to weather especially with such humid summers. These were a couple of images I snapped during a rather amazing thunderstorm unlike anything I have ever seen.
