…beside the seaside.
This week has been MENTAL! Normal service will resume shortly. In the meantime enjoy the below – I stole it from my deviantART account…The less is said about that, the better.
There will be no photo updates as they stole my camera.
A while ago Mr. Shields, an esteemed friend of mine, challenged me to photograph something that was architecturally interesting. Decided to shoot some night time images in Reading while I had to to spare on Tuesday night. Some weren’t so great given that compacts aren’t amazing in low light conditions, but I quite liked this shot given the water was moving and the rest was stationary.
So unfortunately this was another iPhone shot but it didn’t come out too badly. This is a school in Reading opposite a (pretty meh) property that we viewed yesterday. I just loved the colour of the brick and was surprised the window frames were so clean, which gave a really nice contrast.
Thanks to Cisco, I got a lovely new Polo to drive. =) The clutch is far to light though…
I couldn’t for the life of me find my proper compact to take these pictures and the grainyness of the iPhone in low light is really noticeable here unfortunately. That being said, afternoon tea with the family was a novel and enjoyable experience, and the birthday girl (my Grandmother) and a simply marvellous time.
This is a great little burger place in St. Catherine’s square in Brussels – nice selection, including Lamb, which was a new one for me.
iPhone snap from dinner the night before I left Brussels for the UK – This is a Kriek – Cherry – Beer. Sweet, but delicious. Also a wonderful colour.
